Hi.
Unfortunately the EHT modules produce a negative voltage, reversing them doesn't work as the output lead has a sense configuration and shuts it down. It will work I would think on an electrostatic tube where the bottom end can effectively float.
Not everything is lost though and I'll next be concentrating on a blocking oscillator line generator.
