Hi.
The general idea is to use a separate EHT source, I've ordered a Chinese unit that will supply 5.6Kv @ 150uA which is within the CRT's spec of 4-7kV. This will then make the deflection circuit easier to design and allow a multitude of line frequencies possible without affecting EHT voltage.
So initially ill design the power supplies then move onto timebases.
