The lowest frequency used by any of thre original 'pirates' was 774kHz (Radio 390), which was based on Red Sands Fort, and was always a strong signal here in N. Oxfordshire. It apparently was also heard in Scandinavia and other more distant places. In later years, of course, Laser 558 and Caroline on 576kHz were very near the LF end of the MW Band.
