Looking at dBpoweramp it seems to be for Windows and Mac only. But Vortexbox is a Linux distro so how does that work?
The Innuos bix you use looks like a hardware solution to use instead of a PC running Vortexbox. Have I got that correct?
I'm new to all of this, having only ever ripped a couple of CDs on a PC using whatever tools were to hand. So I'm possibly easily confused
You used the term "LMS server" which was unfamiliar to me. So I googled it and found: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logitech_Media_Server Presumably this is the software that allows me to access music etc from any device on the network.
