Yes Andy I have tried your speakers and they are very good, the used one having the best bass response as is expected. A friend is making me cabinets but only between jobs so it could take a bit of time, in the meantime I'm using Kenwood speakers of late 80's vintage which are surprisingly very good.
Mike I like your idea, the present front panel was only temporary anyway so one better from the knee operation I'll give it a go..... Thanks for sharing your ideas.
