A lot of the Vestel based sets don't have any form of composite inputs. These include JVC, Hitachi, Sharp, Luxor. Although not across the board. Other brands are slowly removing them but it's a case of suck it and see right now. Granted most flat screens are pretty useless on composite but if the requirement is for a spare room then I'd be inclined to go for the smallest screen you can get away with. The bigger the screen then the worse composite video looks like, it can be ghastly.
