Despite all the exhortations and warnings you've been given, you've still got your nose buried in that damned Yankee book, haven't you?
That sentence is American from start to finish. In the UK we have LT (Low tension), HT (High Tension) and GB (Grid Bias)- and the HT provides the supply to the anodes of the valves.
Will you ever take any notice of anything that anybody else says to you?
