The amp. is now back in the HMV2022, and I've been listening to a selection of 45s plus one side of an LP on it. There's not a lot ov volume despite the service info. saying that the o/p is 2.5 watts. In addition there is hum present, which varies with the setting of the volume control. Maybe this was always the case with these players! The cartridge is an X5M rather than the original X1, so maybe the 5 has lower o/p than the X1.
