This Jason advertisement from Hi-Fi News 1959 June includes a picture of the “built” version of the JTV, which looked somewhat different to the Jasonkit version.
The FMS2 switched FM tuner also shown was one of the original products in the Jason “Matching Equipment” series released in the latter part of 1957. The other two tuners in the original series were the AM/FMS2 and the AM/FM2.
The J-10 amplifier was also part of the original "Matching Equipment" series, with the J2-10 stereo version following later. The Jason amplifiers seemed to have jumped from the original Mk I versions (although not named as such) directly to the Mk III versions. At least, I’ve never found any evidence that there were Mk II versions.
Cheers,
Steve
