Not necessarily commonplace, Jeffrey. I found sites listing scores of this type of clock of French, British and American origin, mainly, but only a few had Hersant movements.

You should really be talking to a specialist Auction house - and also look for any other markings apart from those on the movement. Some of the clocks I found on one US site were priced well into 4 figures!
