Tonight I looked back on Q's of loaded circuits and equivalent parallel impedance. The main point of it was simply squaring an output valves optimum load with a lower circuit load. The rule I learned is with a Q over 10 and a very low circuit load resistance, you can put the resistance in series with a resonant circuit. It said maybe 100 Ohms.
Q's I revised too. Merely very small resistances either in a winding or the capacitor dielectric. Divide into resonant circuit reactance and you get the Q.
Yes, I keep forgetting and then going back to it.
It would be fair to say I doubt I need to know the stuff above but I find it keeps my mind off, say, worrying about routine things.
