Here is a photo of the insides of one of the speakers.
The construction is infinite baffle and the manufacturer took the trouble to make the units serviceable by screwing in the front baffle.
Both the drivers in this unit seem OK. The treble is 4 ohms and the bass driver is 3 ohms.
The bass driver is wired full range and the treble is fed via a 5uf non polarised electrolytic with an inductor across the speech coil.
The code on the bass speaker could be May 1973 perhaps, 1973 seems about right for the date of the record player.
I wonder, do members think the speakers look like they could be original and made by Hacker.
