I mentioned in my recent thread on the KB 830 that the power supply is causing masses of interference on MW, well its not quite as simple as that.
I went to see if the PSU could come apart to see if I could add any filter components. The strange thing was there was no interference at all when I had the PSU plugged into the mains near to my radio I have just restored.
Further tests showed the interference seems to be caused when the USB cable from the 3D printer is earthed, either to the PC body or to a nearby audio amplifier.
Has anybody got any suggestions. I was wondering if earthing the 12 volt OP from the PSU may help.
