Further investigation showed that, although the arm drive motor was working, theworm drive wasn't being turned - the pulley was slipping on it's shaft, with the result that the pulley flew off again! (This was the original fault, btw). How to permanently secure the pulley to the polished shaft ogf the worm drive is once again the question!!
