Marine Pumps

It's a Water Puppy, green case type. All metallic. The pumps are used to supply water to your taps. The windings looked OK visually. My bet is running dry heats the shaft and adds to resistance. Or there's a bit of distortion or friction. At the moment it now runs but with the impeller back in maybe it will work. If I can suck the water through, it should run slower. It's not a major project but it would make a useful spare.
