There is a much older building I know of that is a museum and when I was there some restoration was going on. The floors were literally made of concrete with flower pots without holes in the bottom inserted into the cast floors in order to reduce the weight.
The photos have vanished from the web now the restoration work is complete. It is a bit of a long way from London for a visit unless you are interested in vintage cotton milling equipment including sock makers and medal ribbon makers and so on.
