Thanks Nick for posting that link. I may use them in the future.
Narrow tracks and pads for SMD chips are also difficult to home brew.
SOP packaged chips I can manage to home brew a PCB for but something like a PQFP package is beyond my ability, yet there are many chips only available in such packages.
