I did some more testing with the crystals today. With the test circuit I was picking up harmonics to at least 10 x the fundamental frequency on my SW radio.
However I was not picking up any sub harmonics, (not even the marked frequency, where this differed to the test frequency) on the radio.
Could this be a drawback with the Pierce oscillator circuit.
Any comments welcome.
