I'm still using the BB510 varicap diodes. The arrangement is four diodes in series parallel to avoid the rectification of strong signals. It's 9pm and the mystery station has returned on 1584Khz. The sky is cloud free at the time of writing this. Also, there is a great of "chatter" on 1593Khz, the extreme end of the medium Waveband.
