Testing crystals

[Crackle]

The Colpitts oscillator circuit I saw on the web relies on chokes and capacitors, where does the crystal go?
I fancied something where I can simply plug in the crystals one at a time to check if they work and test to measure the frequency with my scope, or one of these.
