Hi Mark thanks for that information have to try the cheapest options first as after been on google it could be the electrodes or the main pcb or the gas valve but when I press the reset button it goes into diagnostic mode & it ignites for 15 seconds ( the fan & burner is running ) then it goes into lock up the rest button & blue power on led indicator are flashing . I am no boiler engineer but my way of thinking if the gas valve or pcb are faulty it would not ignite for 15 seconds ? its getting gas to the heat exchanger so that would rule out the gas valve & ? & its providing ht to ignite the gas ? does that rule out the main pcb as it is opening the gas valve & providing the ht to ignite the gas regards Bob
