I've visited this Budapest power station a few years back for a possible film location !!
There's some really interesting side rooms, cooling waterways, switch rooms etc - but the jewel in the crown is this control room !
Even more remarkably, I was told by an elder ex-employee that cold water ran over the top of the glass ceiling panels to cool the room - who says you can't mix water and electricity ?
