If you have a bunch of people in the house each with own phone/tablet/laptop/pc etc, then it's another story!
I could easily watch most HD content on web on my 8Mbps (typically 7.5Mbps at peak time), as long as it was only me and I didn't have a data cap. The 60G byte cap per 30 rolling days is only just enough for the three of us with almost no video watching.
