Good evening Gentlemen, many thanks for your approval of the knob substitution job.
The Pye P123BQ has only one pre-set long wave station which now has been retuned to 198Kc/s.
The Pam 710 and Pye P123BQ have a non standard IF of 315Kc/s, presumably to accommodate the rather limited ft of the Newmarket V6/R4 transistors available at the time of manufacture. No doubt the V6/R4M frequency changer transistor was from a special selection.
