Hi Alan, not so much the width but the diameter of the knob. It's been carved up now and is being readied for reassembly.
The Pye P123BQ is an excellent performer, last night here in the North-East of England it was receiving Manx Radio loud and clear.
There's still plenty activity on the Medium Waveband.
