Just about given up on looking for the "correct" cart for this so sent for one of the Chinese cheapo ones which arrived this morning.
Output is so low as to be unusable & needs a pre-amp............ aarggh
On the plus side the cart fitted into the existing holder in the arm without any problems which is a good enough reason to keep it in there & look out for a pre-amp
I've got one somewhere that will do the job, but finding it may well take a while
I'm now wondering if, as Crosley do a cheapo magnetic cartridge & I'm going to have to use a pre-amp anyway .................. might it be worthwhile going down that road............. I'll muse that one over a glass of beer tonight I think.
