Decided to remove the Magnabooster 2 which didn't seem to be doing its declared job of trapping black muck. I've now fitted a Magnaclean. It's relatively flimsy and harder to clean out but after a couple of days it has picked up an appreciable amount of muck. I'm tempted to leave the plastic case off the magent for a while. That will make the magnet relatively more powerful but more of a pain to clean. I was inspired to do this by the Magnacleanse which has its magnets directly in the water and for this very reason.
