P.S. I have saved the two pages on radios-tv.co.uk and had all the photos/graphs.
I can't see how anything cheaper, or a "Suffolk" style tester is better value unless you want a simple go/fail tester, (maybe to test very large quantities of NOS), which actually will "fail" perfectly usable vintage valves.
The Radioelec model seems too basic and by the time you add your time, sockets, switches or patch panel etc, is it worth the saving?
Ronald Dekker knows his stuff, I can't find out much about the cheap one.
The serial protocol for the uTracer has also been published.
