It may well need a filter but I will try and get rid of as much as I can from the source first.
I have set the slew rate to fast and it has made a good difference getting rid of all the spikes but one.
The spike that's left appears to be caused by pin's not turn off quick enough/turning on too soon.
I have rigged up a line sync out that will trigger only on selected lines so I can see on a scope only those lines.

The frequency gratings lines The gratings are 1, 1.5, 1.85, 2.5 and 3 MHz
