I know whats causing the jagged lines (a missing pixel in some of the lines) and how to cure it (replace the missing pixels). What I don't understand is how a single pixel just lasting for 136 nS is visible enough to be a problem, I'd have thought that it would just be lost in the fuzziness.
I know that the line that it is missing in is shorter in length which magnifies it by causing the following line to be shifted to the right. But if I replace the pixel in the line so the line is the correct length but insert it so that the vertical lines are misaligned at one point by 1 pixel the misalignment is viable.
I am not complaining, in fact its great because any errors can be seen and corrected. I am just curious.
I will put up a screen of frequency gratings and a Oscilloscope shot of it, but I will finish the card pattern first.
Unfortunately I haven't got a Spectrum analyser.
I haven't done anything with the DAC side of things, I just did enough to get it going. It will need attending to as the output is really very dirty.
