Yes, you can count number of instructions used by your JAL interrupt routine.
I've been doing assembler since 1979, Pascal 1980, C++ 1987, C since 1988.
I did do a couple of PIC projects in Assembler and C (A colour copier page counter per user and user keylock, and a portable Terminal Emulator and Turbo NiMH battery charger in a test gear) but none since I discovered JAL.
