110 degree tubes mentioned as a new development. They made a difference to cabinet depth, but must of the depth reduction on later models is the curved back covering maybe 1/3rd depth? Article P 598.

The mentioned homemade filter won't work very well, assuming you can even obtain the kind of plastic film needed.
DLP does use a mechanical "colour" wheel. I have one here that got wet and then then the owner powered up the projector without drying it. Wheel glass is in pieces. I think most have one or two clear segments?
Oh and a map of UTV coverage from Black Mountain! Just recently deceased by the ITV PLC gobble.
The "Spot wobble" add on is interesting!
