I thought of Trevor this morning when I found myself following a mint condition Rover 620i!
Mark has a good point - the cost of VED is lost in a few tankfuls of petrol. Okay, if you only fill up your petrol tank five times a year (as Mark would seem to, looking at his annual mileage!) it's a significant sum, but think about it in terms of tankfulls of petrol and it doesn't seem so bad.
