Thanks Lawrence. This is certainly what is in the CURRENT Tesco Kitchen Radio!
So obviously very cheap, but not much good!
The example circuit is identical to what I found!
Except single coil and telescopic rod for VHF rather than a loop.
If it's not this chip, then it's a bad copy of it!
