Ok...Update, last night she went to shut off the computer, the restart box displayed restart and update, so she did, took a long time, by the time it was done she was too tired to logon again to Ebay, she's just tried it now, no smartscreen blocking out her listings description...so far.
So going on that it could have been the updates that sorted it or Microsoft have sorted out their problem with Ebay.
