Hi.
I have a screened cable running from the shed to the house. It is quite thin white cable from a drum that is marked "Aircraft Grade". It has an extremely strong outer coating that doesn't burn, its difficult to strip and needs to cut with a blade round its circumference. This reveals silver, possibly coated wire and its very finely interwound, the inner is coated in the same plastic coating and a fine coating of what looks like enamel. under is again a silver type wire.
The 15 meter run measures 1770pf, audio is fine through it from a low impedance source and RF up to about 2mhz is OK so long as its also fed from a low impedance source and if necessary fed via a transformer to up the impedance.
