I have in the distant past used a 24 volt version in numbers when I worked in a place that made vending machines. These ones had the rotor spring loaded so that when power was not applied the rotor sprung away from the drive. It was done to stop the mechanics from "un-parking" so that the customer could pull a second product out. They were called something like inertia free.
