Both RG59 and RG58 are fine for audio.
I still have loads of RG58 (Cheapernet style ethernet) from ripping out 15 to 20 years ago to put Cat5 and later Cat5e in.
I've used stranded core RG59 and RG58 for maybe 40 years on/off for audio and microphones.
