It may well be NLA but at least we have a good idea of what we're dealing with. It's not even 100% certain that we've got the right chip as there may have been a slightly different device specifically for AM sound.
This clearly isn't the device we're looking for but it suggests Siemens made soemthing to do AM sound: http://pdf.datasheetcatalog.com/datashee...-A5179.pdf
PS: Getting closer. TheTDA5660P does AM and FM sound but is 18 pin.
