Hi Jan, the attachment shows the results of Saturday evening's work.
The only component in the frame timebase which needed replacement was the 1megohm height control.
At only 8KV the EHT is still too low so tomorrow I will 'scope the sawtooth drive to the grid of the line output valve. The service notes for an earlier but similar GEC set recommends that the line drive should be checked when investigating low EHT.
