You've certainly got plenty of time to get it done. I built one of Maplins Christmas tree kits with my granddaughters. It took two years as we put it away the first year and finished it at Christmas of the next year. The valve is a 6T5. I'll look up its heater current x2 and see if I can get away with less than 2A.
