I dont want start a daft argument but in theory fuses can have an effect on sound.
in some solid state amps there are fuses after the smoothing block in these if you scope the line after the fuse you will find the line is modulated with the music this is not good.
a fuse should have zero resistance but then of course it would not blow.

if its made by hand it can be repaired by hand
