You have got confused.
The changer space is in the boot.
The head end in the front was also provided by the manufacturer and can play a single CD or an MP3 CD with all the songs in MP3 format dropped into the root directory of the CD. Then just hit burn and when it has finished you end up with more than 150 songs on a single CD.
Later head ends can often take an SD card and you can load even more songs onto one of them.
