The next step was to screw the 'Top' Bracket to the front of the Garage, offer up the 'Bottom' Bracket, get it into the right place and put some Screws in. I put a lot of Holes it it because I was dubious about the Concrete, and I was right, but there's enough. It only has to stand side loads and 6 No. 10 Screws in shear should cope. I bought some nice new RG6 to connect it up and fitted the Aerial to the Top, with plenty of Silicon Grease - DC4 - to keep the water out. A bit of jiggery-pokery with Map and Compass pointed it in the right direction and Robert's your Fathers Brother - it works splendidly.
As expected it's quite directional. Indeed, turning it 90 Deg. kills the Signal almost. completely.
Now I must sort out some sort of Aerial Distribution Panel to get rid of all my trailing Wires, and get a Long Wire erected
