Been looking through the red Radio and Television servicing books and there are no Pye radios that resemble the PJ508. The same goes for the Invicta and Pam radios.
I'd reckon the push-button waveband switching is complex but the remainder of the receiver from the anode of the ECH81 frequency changer to the output valve is conventional.
