So I'm just going to lay back, do some electronics and have a few beers and wait for the new V5C to turn up. They win but Hey! I have much more important issues going on.

The beers and playing with electronics sound good.
You can download the form though and don't forget that the new van needs to be insured in "your" name these days before you can tax it.
