I've never had an ant but have one IBM think pad that has several of those tiny 'thunderflies' in the screen. They're dead and will now be a permanent blot on the screen. These are the little devils that often get behind the glass of artwork. I acquired the machine with them and living in the uk in a rural farming area I always keep my laptops in one of those sealable poly bags.
