However...
I have a large ceiling lighting fitting that uses 10x pigmy 25W bulbs.
These lasted about a year each so it was a real "Forth Bridge" type of replacement project. Always up and down the ladder.
So I bought a full set of 3W LED pigmy bulbs a year ago ("MiniSun 3W Warm White), at about £5 each so not cheap.
Five of the original 10 failed between November 2015 and January 2016, after little more than a year, and have had to be replaced.
And another has just gone this week.
Not a great advert for long-life! Especially as they are on about 3 hours a day. (= about 1000 hours life).
