Typing is much easier on a full size keyboard and the fiber pipe is fast.
I can get a Linux live CD in about two minutes.
Those hand held gadgets are just a means to keep in touch while away from home and a sub for a sat-nav.
Don't forget to buy a local pay as you go SIM if you go overseas. You will get fleeced if you don't.
