I wouldn't buy low profile tyres though, see no advantage and just more likely to catch the rims on a kerb. Gary

It's interesting to read what a lot of the motoring press says about low profile tyres - very expensive, lower milage that fatter jobbies and poor road surface isolation. So not a lot going for them. I tried to buy my C-RV with 55s but I would have had to wait 3 months so I got the garage to take the thin tyres/wheels off and replace them with the with the demmo vehicle's wheels. Although the low profile ones were a £1500ish option on other configurations, they wouldn't give me a better price!
